Udumalaipettai is an inter-district legislative assembly of Tamil Nadu that is spread across Tiruppur district and Coimbatore district, which includes the city of Udumalpet.^[2] Its State Assembly Constituency number is 125. Udumalpet Assembly constituency is a part of Pollachi Lok Sabha constituency.^[3] It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu, in India.
