Warcha
View on WikipediaWarcha (Urdu: وڑچهہ) is a village and one of the 51 Union Councils (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is located at 32°24'46N 71°57'57E.[1] The area is home to Warcha salt mine, which has over 1 billion tonnes of salt reserves,[2] where industrial salt mining was launched in 1872.[3]

Hafiz Saqlain and Ansar Hayat are running welfare organization to suplort needy people.This town is land of saints. Peer syed jind wada Shah migrated from Essa Kheil to purify and preached the message of Islam to people of warcha. Every year in the First week of February Urs Pak of Khaja Sadeed ud deen almaroof Jind Wada Shah is celebrated there on the top of mountain. This town is blessed with Natural Minerals especially its Pink Salt is famous all over the world.
