It was the first edition of the men's event and the 43rd edition of the women's event. The tournament was classified as an 2025 ATP Challenger Tour tournament and a 2025 WTA 125 tournament (downgraded from WTA 250 status in previous years). It took place at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham, United Kingdom, on 2–8 June 2025.
