View on WikipediaCarlos Leonel Ramírez Carmona[1] (born August 2, 1993), better known by his ring name Myzteziz Jr., is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, previously known by the ring name Angelikal. He is signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, where he is the former AAA World Trios Champion.
Key Information
He is a fourth-generation wrestler, grandnephew of El Húngaro and Tony Arellano, son of Apóstol Jr., older brother of Komander and Flamita and cousin of Bandido, Gravity and Magia Blanca. Originally his real name was not a matter of public record as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico, however due to a possible kidnapping crime in which he is being implicated, he ended up having his real identity exposed by his ex-wife and mother of their son (who was supposedly kidnapped by Myzteziz Jr.).[2][1]
Professional wrestling career
[edit]In 2012, Angelikal made his debut on the independent circuit teaming with Crossfire and Stukita being defeated by Dark Side and the Toxic Couple (Epidemic and Heavy Boy).
Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (2017–present)
[edit]In 2017 Anglikal began working part-time for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), initially working in the first or second match of the night teaming with Charly Madrid and Tigger to defeat Angel Mortal Jr., Canibal Jr. and Tiger Boy.[3] At Triplemanía XXV, Angelikal teamed with El Hijo del Vikingo and The Tigger to defeat Angel Mortal Jr., Tiger Boy and Villano III Jr. in the final of La Llave a la Gloria. That same night, he was named the winner of the tournament along with Ashley and El Hijo del Vikingo, but nevertheless, Director of Talent of AAA Vampiro announced that the fourteen finalists would all receive a contract with the promotion.
On November 18, 2018, Angelikal teamed up with El Hijo del Vikingo and Laredo Kid to defeat El Nuevo Poder del Norte (Carta Brava Jr., Tito Santana and Mocho Cota Jr.), that same night the trio demanded a match for the AAA World Trios Championship. In December, at Guerra de Titanes, before the fight for the titles, La Parka gave Angelikal a new mask and changed his name to Myzteziz Jr. Later, the trio defeated El Nuevo Poder del Norte to win the AAA World Trios Championship.[4] They would go on to be known as Los Jinetes del Aire (The Air Raiders). Prior to Triplemanía XXVIII, Laredo Kid vacated the AAA World Trios Championship in order to focus on his singles career following advice from La Parka and elected Golden Magic to replace him in the trio. At the event, the trio won the vacant AAA World Trios Championship in a three-way match which included El Nuevo Poder del Norte and Las Fresas Salvajes (Pimpinela Escarlata, Mamba, and Máximo).[5] Later in the year, Golden Magic would change his gimmick to Octagon Jr.[6] At the 2019 Guerra de Titanes, Myzteziz Jr. and El Hijo del Vikingo unsuccessfully challenged AAA World Tag Team Champions Lucha Brothers (Fénix and Pentagón Jr.) in a match that also included Australian Suicide and Rey Horus.[7] On February 22, 2020, Los Jinetes del Aire successfully defended the AAA World Trios Championship against Los Mercenarios (La Hiedra, Rey Escorpión and Taurus).[8] The trio made a second successful defence on the May 2 episode of Major League Wrestling's Fusion against Injustice (Jordan Oliver, Kotto Brazil and Myron Reed).[9]
In other media
[edit]In the late summer of 2019 Myzteziz Jr. was one of the participants in the Mexican version of the Exathlon sports reality show, Myzteziz Jr. was part of the "celebrity/athlete" Exathlon team, competing against a team of amateurs that was shown several days a week on the Mexican Azteca Uno television station.[10]
Personal life
[edit]He was in a relationship with fellow luchadora enmascarada Keyra until their contentious divorce in mid-2024.
On September 22, 2024, through social media Keyra accused her ex-husband of taking her 2-year-old son without her consent, because the wrestler was about to take her son back home, when she was informed that her son was no longer in the hospital after the blood donation where he was discharged. Shortly after, the AMBER Alert was activated to help locate the child, which has been widely shared by fans and fellow wrestlers. She also noted that her son is still in a delicate health condition and needs the care of his mother. In addition, due to the desperation for not making his whereabouts known, she has shared a photo of Myzteziz Jr.'s face in the hope that this will speed up his search.[1]

View on GrokipediaEarly life and training
Family wrestling heritage
Myzteziz Jr. was born on August 2, 1993, in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico.[2] He hails from the storied Arellano wrestling family, a multi-generational dynasty originating in the La Laguna region of Mexico, known for producing numerous luchadores across decades.[6] As a fourth-generation wrestler, Myzteziz Jr. traces his lineage directly to the family's patriarch, his great-grandfather El Húngaro, a pioneering figure in Mexican professional wrestling during the mid-20th century.[1] His grandfather, Tony Arellano, carried on the tradition as a second-generation competitor active in regional promotions.[1] Myzteziz Jr.'s father, Apóstol Jr., represents the third generation and competed prominently in Laguna-area circuits, further embedding the family's legacy in local lucha libre culture.[1] In addition to his immediate paternal line, Myzteziz Jr. is connected to a broader network of wrestling relatives, including his cousin Magia Blanca and relative Bandido, both active in major promotions.[1] He is also the older brother of fellow wrestlers Komander and Flamita, as well as cousins with Gravity.[7] This deep familial immersion in professional wrestling provided Myzteziz Jr. with early and constant exposure to the industry's demands, techniques, and traditions, profoundly shaping his aspiration to become a luchador from a young age.[8]Training and early career
Myzteziz Jr. began his professional wrestling training under renowned trainer Zebra Kid around 2012, leveraging his family's longstanding involvement in lucha libre to build foundational skills in technique and performance.[3] This early preparation emphasized agility and in-ring fundamentals, setting the stage for his entry into the ring. He made his professional debut in February 2012 under the ring name Angelikal on the Mexican independent circuit, competing in a tag team match for the X-Project promotion where he teamed with Crossfire and Stukita in a losing effort against Dark Side and La Pareja Tóxica.[9] Throughout his initial years, Angelikal wrestled frequently in regions around Mexico City, such as Pachuca in Hidalgo, and the Laguna area including Torreón in Coahuila, participating in local events that honed his match experience against various opponents.[9][10] As a developing técnico, or babyface wrestler, Angelikal cultivated a high-flying style characterized by aerial maneuvers and quick pacing, heavily influenced by the acrobatic traditions of his wrestling lineage. This approach was evident in his early independent bouts, where he often showcased dives and innovative sequences to engage crowds. In 2017, he entered the La Llave a la Gloria tournament organized by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide as an independent talent, teaming with El Hijo del Vikingo and The Tigger to win their final match against Ángel Mortal Jr., Tiger Boy, and Villano III Jr. at Triplemanía XXV; he was announced as one of the three tournament winners alongside Ashley and El Hijo del Vikingo, earning an AAA contract and marking a significant step in his career trajectory.[11][12]Professional wrestling career
Independent circuit (2012–2017)
Angelikal, the ring name used by Myzteziz Jr. prior to joining Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, made his professional wrestling debut in 2012 on Mexico's independent circuit, where he began competing as a singles and tag team wrestler.[3] His early matches took place in local promotions across the country, including appearances in events held in Torreón and the surrounding Laguna region, as well as Mexico City, allowing him to hone his skills in front of regional audiences.[13] Over the next several years, Angelikal participated in sporadic independent shows, often teaming with other up-and-coming talents and establishing himself as a reliable técnico performer known for agile maneuvers. Following a period of limited recorded activity from 2014 to 2016, Angelikal increased his visibility on the indie scene in 2017, wrestling in multiple promotions and building momentum through consistent performances.[14] This surge culminated in his entry into AAA's La Llave a la Gloria tournament, a talent search initiative aimed at identifying promising independent wrestlers for potential contracts.[15] Advancing through the competition's preliminary stages, he reached the finals at Triplemanía XXV on August 26, 2017, in Mexico City, where he partnered with El Hijo del Vikingo and The Tigger to defeat Tiger Boy, Villano III Jr., and Ángel Mortal Jr. in a six-man tag team match lasting 7:28.[16] The victory secured Angelikal's spot as one of the tournament's top honorees, paving the way for his full-time signing with AAA later that year.[15]Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (2017–present)
Myzteziz Jr., then performing under the ring name Angelikal, signed a part-time contract with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide in 2017, marking his entry into one of Mexico's premier wrestling promotions.[2] His official debut occurred at Triplemanía XXV on August 26, 2017, where he teamed with El Hijo del Vikingo and The Tigger in a trios match against La Sociedad, showcasing his high-flying style that drew from his independent circuit experience.[16] This appearance positioned him as an emerging talent within AAA's aerial division, aligning with the promotion's emphasis on dynamic, acrobatic performers. In late 2018, Angelikal underwent a significant rebranding during the Guerra de Titanes event on December 2, when he adopted the ring name Myzteziz Jr. to honor the legacy of his father's former persona, Myzteziz (the original Sin Cara).[17] At the same event, Myzteziz Jr. formed the core of the high-flying stable Los Jinetes del Aire, initially partnering with El Hijo del Vikingo and Laredo Kid to defeat El Nuevo Poder del Norte (Carta Brava Jr., Mocho Cota Jr., and Tito Santana) for the AAA World Trios Championship in a 10-minute showcase of innovative teamwork and dives.[18] The stable's lineup later evolved, with Golden Magic replacing Laredo Kid after the latter vacated his title to pursue singles opportunities, solidifying Los Jinetes del Aire as a dominant force in AAA's tag and trios divisions through 2019 and into 2020.[19] Myzteziz Jr.'s momentum continued at Triplemanía XXVIII on December 12, 2020, where he represented Los Jinetes del Aire alongside Octagón Jr. in a three-way match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship against Los Lucha Bros (Fénix and Pentagon Jr.) and Los Mercenarios (Rey Escorpión and El Texano Jr.), though they fell short in the high-stakes encounter held amid COVID-19 protocols at Arena Ciudad de México.[20] His career reached a personal milestone at Triplemanía XXXI: Monterrey on April 16, 2023, defeating Argenis in a mask vs. mask match to force his opponent's unmasking, a dramatic feud culmination that highlighted Myzteziz Jr.'s resilience as a second-generation luchador.[21] This victory reinforced his status as a key player in AAA's ongoing storylines, blending technical prowess with emotional narrative depth. Throughout his AAA tenure, Myzteziz Jr. has maintained a primarily técnico (face) persona, emphasizing aerial innovation and loyalty to his stable, though occasional post-match tensions—such as heated exchanges following multi-man bouts—have teased potential rudo (heel) shifts without a full turn.[22] In 2025, he remained active in AAA's roster, competing in events like the July 25 Alianzas show, where he and Radioactivo lost a trios match to Dominik Mysterio and Chris Carter alongside Andy Panda and Charro Negro, bridging AAA with WWE cross-promotional angles.[23] His continued appearances, including defenses and feuds within Los Jinetes del Aire, underscore his enduring role in AAA's evolving landscape as of November 2025.[24]Championships and accomplishments
Championships
Myzteziz Jr. has achieved success primarily in the trios division within Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), capturing the AAA World Trios Championship twice as a member of the high-flying stable Los Jinetes del Aire. These reigns highlight his role as a key aerial performer in the team, contributing to several successful defenses against prominent factions. As of November 2025, he has not won any further championships.[25][26] The team's first reign began on December 2, 2018, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, when Myzteziz Jr., alongside El Hijo del Vikingo and Laredo Kid, defeated El Nuevo Poder del Norte (Mocho Cota Jr., Carta Brava Jr., and Tito Santana) to win the vacant titles in a tournament final. This victory marked the inaugural championship for the newly formed Los Jinetes del Aire and lasted 244 days until the titles were vacated on August 3, 2019, following Laredo Kid's departure from AAA due to a contract dispute.[26][27][28] Following the vacancy, Myzteziz Jr. and El Hijo del Vikingo reformed Los Jinetes del Aire with Golden Magic as the new partner, winning the titles for the second time on August 3, 2019, at Triplemanía XXVII in Mexico City by defeating El Nuevo Poder del Norte in a six-person tag team match. This reign, the longest in Myzteziz Jr.'s career at 638 days, extended until May 2, 2021, when the team lost the championships to Los Mercenarios (El Texano Jr., La Hiedra, and Rey Escorpión) on an episode of AAA on Space. Key defenses included a successful interpromotional title match against MLW's Injustice (Kotto Brazil, Jordan Oliver, and Myron Reed) on March 13, 2020, in Tijuana, Mexico. The reign's duration and multiple successful outings at major AAA events underscored the team's dominance in the division and Myzteziz Jr.'s consistency as a champion.[26][29][30] Myzteziz Jr. has not held any major singles or tag team championships in AAA, focusing instead on his trios accomplishments with Los Jinetes del Aire.[25]Luchas de Apuestas record
Myzteziz Jr. has participated in Luchas de Apuestas matches, a staple of lucha libre where wrestlers wager personal items such as masks or hair, with the loser facing the consequences of forfeiture. His record in these high-stakes bouts stands at 1 win and 0 losses as of November 2025.[3]| Date | Event | Wager | Opponent | Result | Stakes |
