Benjamin Platt Thomas (February 22, 1902 – November 29, 1956) was an American historian and biographer of Abraham Lincoln.[1] In 1952 he published a best-selling one volume biography on Lincoln entitled Abraham Lincoln: A Biography (Knopf, 1952). Thomas killed himself on November 29, 1956.[2]
