Christopher Torvan Board (born July 23, 1995) is an American professional football linebacker for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the North Dakota State Bison, and won four FCS Division 1 Championships with NDSU. He has previously played in the NFL for the Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, and New England Patriots.

Baltimore Ravens

Board signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent on June 1, 2018.[1] He made the Ravens 53-man roster, playing in all 16 games.

In Week 16 against the New York Giants in 2020, Board recorded his first two career sacks on Daniel Jones during the 27–13 win.[2]

Board signed a one-year contract extension with the Ravens on March 16, 2021.[3]

Detroit Lions

New England Patriots

High school career

Chris Board was born on July 23, 1995, in Orlando, Florida. He initially attended East River High School, where he was recruited as a wide receiver, before transferring to Timber Creek High School in Orlando for his senior year in 2012. At Timber Creek, Board played as a safety, contributing to the Wolves' defensive efforts during a successful season. As a senior, Board led the team in tackles with 109 total (97 solo), averaging 9.9 per game over 11 contests, while also recording 4 interceptions and 8 pass deflections. His performance helped Timber Creek advance to the second round of the 8A , where they fell to Apopka. For his efforts, Board earned second-team all-state honors as a and was named to the All-Central defensive team.
