Kiar District (Persian: بخش کیار) is a former administrative division of Shahrekord County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Shalamzar.[4]

[edit]In 2007, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kiar County.[5]

[edit]At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 43,108 in 10,601 households.[3]
