Laura Garrone
View on WikipediaLaura Garrone (born 15 November 1967 in Milan) is a former professional tennis player from Italy, a right handed player. She achieved a career high singles ranking of No. 32 on the 19th of January 1987 and a doubles ranking of world No. 50 in May 1991.[1]
Key Information
In her career, Garrone won five doubles titles on the WTA Tour. Her best Grand Slam finish was the fourth round at the 1986 French Open at Roland Garros. Adding to her WTA success, she secured four singles titles and five doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.[2]
She represented Italy in Barcelona, and she reached the second round of the women's doubles side by side her partner Raffaella Reggi-Conscato. Garrone earned a bronze medal as well in women's doubles at the 1983 Mediterranean Games in Casablanca.[3]
