Louargat (French pronunciation: [lwaʁɡat]; Breton: Louergad) is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France.

Louargat has an oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb). The average annual temperature in Louargat is 11.0 °C (51.8 °F). The average annual rainfall is 1,013.3 mm (39.89 in) with December as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in August, at around 17.0 °C (62.6 °F), and lowest in January, at around 6.1 °C (43.0 °F). The highest temperature ever recorded in Louargat was 38.4 °C (101.1 °F) on 9 August 2003; the coldest temperature ever recorded was −11.1 °C (12.0 °F) on 2 January 1997.

Inhabitants of Louargat are called Louargatais in French.

The municipality launched a linguistic plan through Ya d'ar brezhoneg on 14 June 2007. In 2008, 16.06% of primary school children attended bilingual schools.
