The Musk family is a prominent family with roots in South Africa, Canada, England, and the United States, whose most famous member is billionaire Elon Musk. In 1995, Musk co-founded the software company Zip2. Following its sale in 1999, he co-founded X.com, an online payment company that later merged to form PayPal, which was acquired by eBay in 2002. After a public feud with Trump, Musk left the Trump administration and returned to his technology companies.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Musk has fathered at least fourteen children, one of whom is deceased; the sources close to Musk suggest that the "true number of Musk's children is much higher than publicly known".
