Pabna-2 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh. Since 6 August 2024, the constituency remains vacant.

The constituency encompasses Sujanagar Upazila and Bera Upazila.[2][3][4]

History

The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.

Ahead of the 2026 general election, the Election Commission decided to expand the boundaries of the constituency to include Bera Municipality, and four union parishads of Bera Upazila: Chakla, Haturia Nakalia, Kytola, and Nutan Bharenga.[5]

Azizul Huq Arzu was elected unopposed in the 2014 general election after opposition parties withdrew their candidacies in a boycott of the election.[10]
