Pakistan Cycling Federation

The Pakistan Cycling Federation is the national governing body of cycle racing in Pakistan. It was established in 1947 and is currently based in Peshawar.

SYED AZHAR ALI SHAH President, and Muhammad Haroon General is the General Secretary of the PCF.

The recent elections within PCF have provided a much-needed resolution to the federation’s 13-year-long dispute. Under the leadership of newly elected President SYED AZHAR ALI SHAH and General Secretary MUHAMMAD HAROON GENERAL, the PCF is determined to restore Pakistan’s cycling glory.

History

The Pakistan Cycling Federation was formed in 1947 after the independence of Pakistan. It organized the inaugural National Cycling Championship in 1948 at the time of National Games in Karachi, which were declared open by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan. Jinnah was also the first honorary president of the Pakistan Cycling Federation.
