Samir Guesmi is a French actor, writer, and director known for his supporting roles in French cinema and television, as well as for writing and directing the drama Ibrahim. Born in Paris on October 7, 1967, to Algerian immigrant parents in a family of eight children, he trained at acting schools including Studio Pygmalion, the Théâtre school Tania Balachova, and the Théâtre school of Belle de Mai in Marseille.
