Apamea or Apameia (Greek: Απάμεια) was a Hellenistic city in Media founded by Seleucus I Nicator, near Laodicea (now Nahavand, Iran) and Heraclea. (Strabo xi. p. 524; Stephanus of Byzantium "Laodikeia").
