HEPnet or the High-Energy Physics Network is[citation needed] a telecommunications network for researchers in high-energy physics. It originated in the United States,[1] but has spread to - or been connected with - most places involved in such research, including Japan,[2] Europe,[3] and Canada,[4] amongst other places.
