Jeff Ingold is a two-time Emmy Award winning American TV producer. He has worked on TV shows such as Ted Lasso, Shrinking, Scrubs, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Community, Will & Grace, Just Shoot Me!, 30 Rock, Whiskey Cavalier, Head of the Class (2021), and Bad Monkey.
He currently works with Bill Lawrence as the Head Producer and President of Lawrence's production company, Doozer.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Jeff Ingold grew up in Birmingham, Michigan and attended Seaholm High School. Ingold graduated from Princeton University with a degree in history. He received an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.[2]
Personal life
[edit]Ingold resides in Los Angeles, California, with his wife, Elizabeth, and children Lucy and Teddy.

Jeff Ingold is an American television producer and executive, best known as the president of Doozer Productions and executive producer on the Emmy-winning comedy series Ted Lasso, Shrinking, and Bad Monkey.[1]
Ingold graduated from Princeton University in 1990 with a B.A. in history, where he captained the men's squash team.[2][1] He later earned an M.B.A. from the USC Marshall School of Business.[2][1]
Ingold began his career in sales for ProKennex, a tennis racquet manufacturer, before a summer internship at Warner Bros. sparked his interest in television.[3] He joined NBC in a research role, advanced to assistant positions in production companies, and eventually served as the network's point person on Just Shoot Me.[3] By 2006, he had risen to executive vice president of NBC and Universal Comedy Series, overseeing development and production of hit shows including The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Community, Will & Grace, and Scrubs.[1][2] During this period, The Office won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2006.[2]
In 2011, Ingold left NBC to join Doozer Productions, founded by Bill Lawrence, where he became president and executive producer on projects for Warner Bros. Television and Apple TV+.[1][3] His most prominent work includes Ted Lasso (2020–2023), for which he shared Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2021 and 2022, along with nominations in 2023.[4][5] He also executive produced Shrinking (2023–present), earning a 2025 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, and Bad Monkey (2024–present).[4][1]
Ingold resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.[2][1]
