Singles

Tang Yixin's discography features a limited number of standalone singles, predominantly as contributions to television drama original soundtracks (OSTs). Her breakthrough musical release was the single "" (灯), issued on March 15, 2016, as an insert song for the romantic comedy drama (因为爱情有幸福). Composed by Niu Zijian with lyrics by Sun Yi, the track employs metaphors of lamp fire and moonlight to evoke themes of familial longing, emotional warmth, and the guiding light of home amid life's wanderings—exemplified in lines like "万家灯火闪亮/温暖在我心房荡漾" (Countless household lights shine brightly / Warmth ripples in my heart). The song's gentle, emotive melody pairs with Tang Yixin's soft, expressive vocals to underscore the drama's focus on relationships and domestic bliss. "Light" garnered favorable attention for its heartfelt delivery, enhancing the series' appeal during a period of strong viewership that rivaled popular international hits, and boosting the overall OST's streaming popularity. No was produced, but the single charted modestly on Chinese digital platforms, reflecting its success rather than broad commercial dominance. Following 2016, Tang Yixin's single releases have been sparse, with her music output largely confined to collaborative OST tracks and live performances for events or dramas, such as the 2021 group single "Light Up the Future" (把未来点亮) performed with and for a youth festival program. This limited activity highlights a selective approach to her singing career, often integrated with on-screen roles, with no new solo albums or singles as of November 2025.
