Robyn Addison (born 17 January 1984)[1] is an English actress known for her roles in television series such as Doc Martin, Survivors and Casualty, as well as for providing the English voice of Y'shtola Rhul in the Final Fantasy series. She has numerous other television drama and theatre credits.[5][3]

Robyn Addison (born 17 January 1984) is an English actress and voice actress, best known for her leading role as Sarah Boyer in the BBC science fiction series Survivors (2008–2010) and her recurring role as Janice in the ITV comedy-drama Doc Martin (2004–2022).[1] Born in Derby, Derbyshire, she has built a career spanning television dramas, stage performances, and prominent voice work in video games, including the character Y'shtola Rhul in the Final Fantasy XIV series and Sera in Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014).[2][3]
Addison's television credits also include roles in long-running series such as Casualty as Joanne Coldwell (2008), as well as appearances in Waterloo Road, Inspector George Gently, The Street, and Father Brown.[2][1] A graduate of the University of Cambridge and former member of the Footlights dramatic club, she began her professional acting career in the early 2000s, blending on-screen performances with theatre work.[4] Her voice acting portfolio extends to other titles like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla (2020) and Anthem (2019), showcasing her versatile, textured vocal style that retains a distinctive regional accent.[3]
