Chimpui
Chimpui (Japanese: チンプイ, Hepburn: Chinpui) is a Japanese manga created by Fujiko F. Fujio in 1985. It tells the story of two cute aliens that come to Earth to find the girl who will marry their prince of planet Mahl and find one in a sixth grade girl named Eri. It was subsequently adapted into an anime television series.
It is the last children's manga to be created by Fujio.
The series was first broadcast by TV Asahi from November 2, 1989 to April 18, 1991, then aired in Europe and Asia in 1991 into multiple languages including English and was also aired on Disney Channel Asia.
A movie was released on March 10, 1990. In it, Eri stars in a movie portraying her wedding to Prince Lulealv when the original actress breaks her leg.
