Taurus Impex - Accidental Software Developer
Early 1980s
After numerous business ventures fail, Molyneux establishes Taurus Impex, initially intended as a company exporting baked beans to the Middle East. However, he accidentally demonstrates a database management system he created himself to Commodore and is offered a deal to sell it. He decides to start creating games.
Founding Bullfrog Productions
1987
Molyneux co-founds Bullfrog Productions with Les Edgar. This marks the true beginning of his career as a serious video game designer and developer.
Early Bullfrog Game Development
Late 1980s - Early 1990s
Bullfrog gains recognition for innovative and unique games such as "Populous" (1989), the first 'god game', and "Powermonger" (1990).
"Syndicate" Release
1993
