Sphacteria

Sphacteria (Greek: Σφακτηρία - Sfaktiria)^[1] also known as Sphagia (Σφαγία)^[2] is a small island at the entrance to the bay of Pylos in the Peloponnese, Greece. It was the site of three battles:
